Vicky Kaushal returns to the big screen as the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film Chhaava.

After the success of Bad Newz, Vicky takes on this powerful role, with Rashmika Mandanna starring as Yesubai Bhonsale.

The teaser, released on Monday, showcases Vicky in a fierce avatar, leading a battle on horseback, dressed in full armor. His commanding presence and voiceover set the tone, declaring, “We call Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj a lion, and we call Chhaava the lion’s child.” Akshaye Khanna is also revealed, looking unrecognizable as Aurangzeb.

The teaser ends with Vicky’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj seated majestically on a throne. The first look poster, also unveiled on Monday, shows Vicky in white attire, surrounded by enemies, adding to the anticipation for the film.
