Angry Crowd Protests at Badlapur Railway Station Over Molestation of Two 3-Year-Old Girls, Stone Pelting at Police

In Badlapur, Maharashtra, people are protesting against the sexual harassment of schoolgirls.

Due to the protests at Badlapur station over the alleged abuse of two kindergarten students, Central Railway reported that 10 long-distance trains were diverted. Local train services between Ambernath and Karjat were also suspended after protesters, including many women, blocked the tracks.

The protest turned violent, with demonstrators vandalizing the school where the incident allegedly occurred and throwing stones at Badlapur railway station. Thane Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbre and the District Collector assured the public that strict action would be taken against the accused and urged protesters to clear the tracks.

Police are asking people to remain calm and discuss the matter peacefully, emphasizing that action will be taken according to the Constitution.
